Stretching over a 6.2km course and lasting about 2 hours, this whitewater journey truly lives up to the name Naerincheon ("A Stream Sent from Heaven"). Boasting crystal-clear waters and a thrilling variety of rapids, it proudly stands as the premier whitewater rafting course in Korea.

Course

The course covers a total distance of 6.2km, starting from Naerincheon Waterside Park to Bamgol Recreation Area. The entire experience takes approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes, which includes:

  • Pre-departure safety briefing & course orientation (approx. 15 mins)
  • Post-arrival gear return & shower time (approx. 15 mins)

Process

Cautions
  • Operations may be suspended in case of severe weather.
  • Operations may be restricted during the monsoon season (June - August) depending on water levels.
  • Immediate boarding at your requested online reservation time may not be possible due to overlapping bookings.
    If you need a guaranteed boarding time, please contact us by phone in advance.
  • Entry is strictly prohibited for anyone under the influence of alcohol,
    or those with joint (shoulder, hip, ankle, knee) or spinal/disc issues.

What to Wear


  • Please wear clothes you don't mind getting wet, and be sure to bring a change of clothes, extra shoes, and a towel.
  • Light nylon materials are highly recommended over cotton, as they dry much faster.
    On rainy or windy days, bringing a lightweight, waterproof outdoor jacket is a good idea.
  • Barefoot riding is strictly prohibited due to the high risk of injury from rocks. (Please wear water shoes or sports sandals).


Accessories & Electronics


  • If you wear glasses or sunglasses, we highly recommend using a secure strap.
  • Please avoid wearing jewelry (necklaces, earrings, etc.), as there is a high risk of losing them in the water.
  • Store all electronic devices (mobile phones, cameras, etc.) in a safe place before boarding.

Safety rules
  1. You must strictly follow all instructions and commands from your guide and safety personnel.
  2. Wearing a life jacket and a safety helmet is strictly mandatory.
  3. Any independent or unexpected actions during the rafting trip are strictly prohibited.
  4. You cannot board the raft without completing the mandatory pre-departure safety briefing.
  5. An experienced professional guide must be on board with you at all times. (Beginner-only rafting is prohibited).
  6. It is recommended to bring warm clothing (like fleece or wool) to maintain your body temperature after the activity.
  7. Familiarize yourself with the course and its geographical features in advance during the briefing.
  8. In areas deemed too dangerous, you will follow the guide's instructions to disembark and
    walk along the riverbank while carrying the raft past the hazard.
  9. Refrain from taking medications that cause drowsiness (like cold medicine) before the tour.
    (Rafting is strictly prohibited for pregnant women and individuals with heart conditions).
  10. Check the condition of the raft (drainage, ropes) before departure.
  11. Always ensure you are participating with a reputable company that strictly adheres to these safety standards.
